Foundation for Human Services is a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Daniel Panitz in honor of his dear friend Dr. S. Richard Sauber. These friends were dedicated to improving the lives of those with emotional disorders for over 50 years.

Tragically, Dr. Sauber passed away from Super Nuclear Palsy, a neurological disease that rapidly deteriorates brain and bodily functions, particularly in the elderly. Dr. Panitz was devoted to caring for his friend until the end. Through this experience, he witnessed firsthand the immense challenges faced by caregivers of individuals with neurological decline.

To address these challenges, Dr. Panitz established the Foundation for Human Services. Our mission is to provide emotional support, informative resources, and thought-provoking content through various media, including books, articles, and podcasts.

Initially, we focused on the emotional impact of memory loss and motor impairment on elderly patients and the impact on their caregivers. We recognize the power of different media formats to address the emotional turmoil experienced by both.
